| | In order to get more parents involved in our school and to help keep costs down, a Parent Volunteer Program has been established by the Notre Dame P.T.O. Each year parents must sign up for service hours by volunteering to help with fundraising events or other miscellaneous jobs. There are a required number of volunteer hours for each family. This requirement is part of the mandatory agreement and parent commitment signed in the spring or prior to the start of the school year.

| | | Parent Teacher Conferences |

| | Parent-Teacher conferences will be held at the end of the first report period and at any other time throughout the year that the parents or teacher deem it necessary. Parents are encouraged to take the initiative to keep themselves informed of their children's progress.

| | | Parent Communication With the School |

| | In order to keep the channels of communication clear and direct, and to assist us to effect an open Christian Community, we ask the following:
- Contact your child's teacher if there is any problem concerning academic progress, behavior, classroom procedure or teacher--pupil relationship.
- Contact the principal if there is concern about the general administration of the school or if communication with the teacher is unsatisfactory.
