| | In 1870, a small redwood church was built in Chico, California.
Dreams of a Catholic school were imagined from the start. These dreams became reality in September 1928, when Notre Dame School began its first year serving 130 students. From our humble beginnings, we have grown to 300 students with 15 teachers and nine teacher’s aides. Notre Dame School is proud to have kept quality education alive and well for over 75 years.
Academic excellence, leavened by a commitment to the success of the individual child and integrated with the message of the Gospel, is the heritage of Notre Dame School.
